U Lazy S Ranch
U Lazy S Ranch
The U Lazy S Ranch used to host enduros when it was leased by the Post Enduro Association and held many national enduros from 1970 until the club left in the early 1990s. The property has been in the family for over 100 years and offers some of the most unique riding in the state of Texas. If you like dry dirt and sharp elevation changes, you will be right at home on the terrain.
Proximity to Lubbock, Texas:
The ranch is an hour from Lubbock, Texas. Lubbock is a city of nearly 300,000 people that is the hub of west Texas. There is a nice airport that has service from Southwest, American and United Airlines. It is a college town as well, home of Texas Tech University. There are plenty of lodging and dining options and enough vendors that anything can be sourced and implemented at the ranch. Tents, portable restrooms, food vendors, etc.
The town of Post, Texas has several lodging options as well but the two I would recommend would be the Best Western or the Hotel Garza. Dining options are limited as most places are just greasy diners or burger joints.
Past events:
Since December of 2016, I have hosted an anual event called, GRINduro. It’s a two-day fun ride that features all of the trails on the property. This December we will be hosting GRINduro 10.
In 2022, I hosted a two-day event that was used as a press launch for the Michelin StarCross 6 range of tires. Later that year, I hosted a two-day event for Rev’It that featured trail riding and UTV riding on the property.
There is a beautiful spring fed waterfall on the property and we even have old dig sites from when we found dinosaur bones from the Triassic period on the property.
Trails:
Our trails feature a wide variety of terrain that changes quickly. We’ve got open flat areas that weave in and out of mesquite and cedar trees, sections of trail the ride along the Caprock for some of the best views in the area as well as sharp elevation changes and fun sand washes.
We’ve got over 100 miles of trail for dirt bikes and we have several options for UTV loops as well. Below are links to Garmin routes that I built for examples using existing UTV trail and dirt roads on the property.

Ranching History:
My cousins and uncles still operate a cattle company and I have included images as well for a look into that. My dad was into motorcycles and advertising so I grew up with the opportunity to ride dirt bikes and play with cameras at the ranch.
