Post, Texas Grenadier Gathering
Overview
Classic Car Club Manhattan wants to partner alongside Cole to use the rough section of the Ranch to create a unique invite-only event activation for a select group of Ineos Grenadier owners.
Get to know the Ineos Grenadier
The INEOS Grenadier is a rugged, purpose-built, full-size 4×4 designed by British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS Automotive to fill the gap left by the original, utilitarian Land Rover Defender. It rejects modern "soft-roader" trends, prioritizing mechanical durability, serviceability, and high-utility functionality.
The Ineos Grenadier was dreamed up at the Grenadier pub in London on September 14th, 2016 (link here of origin story)
Mike Prichinello,
Classic Car Club
Mike Prichinello, creative director and one of the three founders of Classic Car Club and a well-known PR strategist has been to the ranch to ride dirt bikes on multiple occasions. In November 2021, Cole was hired by Rev’ IT! and Mike to host a Rev’IT! Ride weekend where Cole prepped 14 KTM dirt bikes so that Rev IT! brand ambassadors could fly in and ride for multiple days to capture content. Mike fell in love with the property and the impact that it had on the participants. Since then, Mike and Cole have stayed in touch and Mike has been working on a way to get back out to the property. TheNINETY is Mike’s creative agency that is very well known in the automotive space. (click here for more info)
Mike created the Offroad Society in New York to give owners of new Ineos Grenadier vehicles an opportunity to learn more about the capabilities of their new vehicle. These owners have followed Mike on rugged trails to get first hand insight into the potential of their Ineos Grenadier. These activities build strong brand loyalty and give the owners memories that will last a lifetime. The vision of this specific event at the ranch is to take this experience to the next level while leveraging the relationship and approvals Mike has from the CEO of Ineos North America. Ineos offers similar events at other public destinations but what sets this event apart is the private exclusivity this destination gives its owners.
Post, Texas
Grenadier Gathering
The Post, Texas Grenadier Gathering
The idea is to bring two hand selected groups of Ineos Grenadier owners to this private event. We estimate 15 vehicles in each group, with up to 25 participants, since most of the owners will bring a spouse or friend to co-drive and enjoy the event. The Ineos Grenadier was dreamed up in a pub in London and the sketch of the first vehicle design is still attached to the ceiling of the pub on a five euro note.
The Grenadier Gathering will consist of roughly five hours of driving split between the morning and afternoon. Drivers will slowly navigate steep climbs, descents and rocky areas. Speed is not the objective but rather crawling along through the terrain.
Mike wants to bring in a solar powered modular shipping container that is custom fabricated to look like the iconic Grenadier pub. This container will be placed on a vista for participants to enjoy after a day of driving. Glamping tents will also be erected on-site so guests can spend the night glamping under a big Texas sky.
Logistics
Event Contracts
Mike would hire Cole to prep the venue and help lead this event. Classic Car Club would provide insurance, liquor license for the days needed and an executed contract. This contract will address additional fees that would be charged if the event had to be run in wet conditions on the bulldozer cuts in the rough section. We would stay off main roads as much as possible regardless of weather conditions. This additional line item would cover additional equipment operation for repairs, if needed. Mike would also coordinate nice portable toilets on a trailer as well as have EMS vehicle on site like we do for GRINduro and other events that are hosted at the ranch.
Mike would arrive a week prior to the event to give plenty of time for setup of the shipping containers and to build rain days into the schedule, if needed. The container would be packed up at the conclusion of the event and removed from the property.
Event Schedules and Timing
The event would tentatively take place September 9-14, 2026 with the week prior being used for event load in and pre-driving. For reference, September 14 was the exact day that the Grenadier vehicle was dreamed up.
The event day would tentatively go as follows:
Morning: Participants arrive on site for event briefing and safety meeting
Mid-Morning: Participants drive for approximately three hours.
Afternoon: A catered lunch is provided in main motorcycle camp
Early-Afternoon: Participants drive for approximately two more hours
Afternoon: Arrive at the makeshift Grenadier pub
Evening: Participants enjoy the dinner and the sunset, followed by glamping.
September weather averages three days with measurable precipitation, high of 87 degrees and lows in the 60s.
Initial thoughts for site of container:
Site will need to be mowed.
Fire suppression equipment would be brought in and staged in the event of a fire at the pub. We will have two 250 gallon water totes mounted on a trailer with water pump and hose. This same set up is in camp on standby for GRINduro events.
Pub campfire setup would consist of something similar to the Howl R4 portable propane campfire. This is a burn ban approved safe solution that would prevent a typical campfire being constructed. (more info on the Howl R4 here)
To conclude:
The ranch provides a unique experience that many people, like Mike, realize the moment they arrive. Cole has been fostering this relationship with Mike since 2021 to create a thoughtful event that is worth replication. We laid a very strong foundation with the Rev’ IT! event and coupled with its success and the success of other events at the ranch over the years, there’s a significant opportunity for growth. Cole has a unique opportunity to utilize the ranch in a way that highlights its beauty while respecting and protecting it from overuse and unnecessary liability. With approval, we want to take The Ineos Grenadier Gathering in Post, Texas from a place of conceptualization to reality.
